Why Safe Havens Matter

 Women rebuilding their lives after addiction, abuse, sexual exploitation, homelessness, or incarceration need more than temporary assistance. They need a safe place where healing, stability, accountability, and hope can grow. True Light provides compassionate, Christ-centered support that helps women move forward and build a stronger future.

Our Response

True Light provides safe housing, mentoring, recovery support, education, practical resources, and connections to trusted community providers. We meet each woman with dignity, compassion, and the belief that her past does not determine her future.

Our Future Vision

True Light is preparing for the next chapter of our mission. We are working toward returning to Philadelphia to open a safe haven for pregnant women in need, expanding Pathways to Purpose, developing our Creative Healing Ministry, and strengthening True Light Thrift Store to help sustain our programs and future growth.
